The dog is an autobiographical character that appears in these artworks as the narrator of my own big feelings.  Quietly resilient (just like the paper that I cut her into) my dog represents all the things that life has taught me to be.  It’s hard to unteach an old dog old tricks.  Things boil and simmer.  Mistakes are made.  Lines are drawn.  Words are said.  Chaos is contained within a crisply cut outline of paper.       

It is the start of another hot, ever dawning, glory gobbling day.
